How to make my Windows XP desktop more sleak.

Hello. I was wondering if there is a way, and if so how: How do I make my Windows XP desktop look more updated, sleak. Or cool skins, if you will. And please no, "Yea, it's called Windows 7."

And I apologize if this is posted in the wrong forum. There, from what I saw, was nothing on just PC discussion.

Free and legit too would be nice, I'm not trusting some of these sites!

well last time we tried this YEARS ago, all i got was viruses. seriously just buy a new PC with windows 7, only because its not that much nmore then buying a full retail copy of windows 7.

Best way to make it sleeker, is wait for windows 8!

Haha, yea, you got me! But back on topic, I figured out more on it and yea, the sites were not looking all that legit :S.
