Given the price, not very. Get a cheaper dual-core chip like the X2 5000+ Black Edition if you really want to stick with AMD.

I'd get a different power supply as well, the GameXStream doesn't have an 8-pin PCI-e connector.

it doesnt...but most cards dont use and and the ones that do come with an adapter

The HD3870X2 most certainly does use an 8-pin PCI-e connector.
