Hi I just bought The Witcher 2 (Steam) and it does not run very well

I was wondering if you guys suggest I buy a new graphic card and if yes, what?
Should i buy additional 2g RAM maybe?

My specs are;
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 9400 2.66 Ghz
RAM: 4g
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 9800GTX+ 512mb

Power supply is about 450-550W i think and budget isn't the biggest concern, lets say about 3000SEK(Swedish monies) which is about $450.

2gb of ram won't help. At that with the budget(and power supply),you can get a 560 ti or a 6950

Theyr'e both ATI right? I would prefer an Nvidia card. Don't know why...
But there no problem of the card not fitting or it not being the same port(?).
All the new ones are PCI-Express right?

Your CPU is fine, your Ram is fine, OS, etc. The problem, the 9800GT, even tho a alright card for light to mid gaming. You need a better more up to to date Video card. My advice, by a GTX 2GB 550ti or 6850.

Do you think power supply will be an issue if it can support 9800GTX+?
And is an easy replacment?

a 550ti would barely be considered an upgrade its barely equal to an hd 5770 while costing almost 40% more

Or is this better; ASUS Radeon HD6950 2048MB PCI-E 2xDVI/HDMI/4xDisplayPort HDCP DDR5 DCII Fan

Or; ASUS Radeon HD6970 2048MB PCI-E 2xDVI/4xDisplayPort HDCP DDR5 DirectCU II Fan

Is the 800mb RAM on the ATi card worth it? Also will i have a problem connecting it to the mothercard?

The extra video memory depends mostly on the resolution you game at. If you're gaming at anything above 1920x1080 then I would suggest the 6970 2gb just for that extra memory. Otherwise either would be perfectly fine.

yes & n if your playing on a super large screen yes it would matter otherwise the two are about even.. both will work fine with your motherboard
