had an HD-DVD drive do you think it would've helped the format out? Or do you think it still would've ended up like this? I personally dont really care about either of the formats are far as having them watch movies but I still feel like some games on the 360 may have been better had there been an HD-DVD drive in there. The extra space would've meant that devs wouldn't have to sacrifice cool things/features and maybe graphics on certain games could've been better had they not had to get all crazy with the compression. And correct me if I'm wrong but hd dvd uses a red laser just like standard dvd. And from the looks of it an HD DVD rom drive isn't too much more expensive than a nice quality dvd burner. So was it a cost issue that kept them from adding one to the 360 or did they see this day coming and decide to play it safe?
