You're good to go.

You should add a CPU cooler such as EVO 212

Your fine. My motherboard was like $79 works fine for me.

MOBO is just the base of all parts, if it fits your need that's all that matters.

You've chosen Asus so it's a quality brand, unless you're going to SLI you're fine with a 50$ MOBO.

EDIT: here's my build for you on the same budget http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3coQQ monitor is a bit better IMO and I've added the CPU cooler, GPU is Superclocked so yeah...
