Help on finding a laptop !

Hi, i'm looking into buying a laptop with a budget of around £500 that around $730 i think. Nothing too flashy but a moderate graphics card with a fast processor. Its difficult finding one without getting all the unecessary crap like a blu ray player and 300gb + HDD. I've been looking for a while now but don't seem to be getting anywhere i guess, if anyone has recently purchased something along these lines or has any smaller specialist or even just cheap websites then their advice would be greatly appreciatative.

Laptops generally aren't very good for gaming. You normally don't get ones with decent graphics cards untill the £750 to £1000 mark. Maybe get a cheap laptop for whatever you want it for and a desktop for gaming? (desktops are a lot cheaper)
