Help me find a game I played as a kid.

Long story short; since steam released the 3d realms bundle, I've been thinking about all the PC games i used to play as a kid. Though there's one I cant remember the name of, and it's starting to frustrate me. Hoping some fellow PC gamers might remember it, even if I dont remember much.

What I do remember:

It was 1st person point and click adventure, with 4 character portraits on the screen. IIRC the portraits were similar to those in system shock

Each character had an inventory.

It took place on a spaceship or space station.

There was a lot of puzzles; I remember there being a door with a broken keypad, you had to find a wire and use it on the door so it would open.

I dont remember there being combat; though with 4 characters (whom my sister believes could die), It's possible the game did have combat.

I dont know why i thought it has better graphics; then again it has been 15-20 years.

OK, don't know what I was thinking of but it wasn't that.
