Hell in games

Posting this here because it's more active than the general forum...

I'm looking for games that feature depictions of Hell or other places inspired by it.

I'm currently playing through Dante's Inferno and I'm simply blown away. The visual design, sound and atmosphere are AMAZING.

Right, so, would you help listing as many games featuring Hell/hellish locations as possible?

Let's get the obvious out of the way:

- id software cIassics like Doom, Quake, Heretic etc.

- Undying, Jericho

- Diablo

- Painkiller

- notsureif Hellgate counts

What else is out there?

dink smallwood has a pretty funny depiction of hell. its basically a lake of fire with some evil dude with a fat head bbqing folks with fireballs

darksiders has a pretty nasty way of showing you the apocalypse if that counts for anything.

dreamkiller is another...

guildwars has a pretty interesting take on hell. the underworld itself is looked after by the lord of death grenth god of decay plague, cold and necromancy. their hades is an unforgiving and cold place where enemies lurk around every corner. and where even the slightest mistake can cost you dearly (as anyone doing a UW slow clear or solo clear can tell you)

however the underworld is jsut one of the many facets to death in guildwars it has many sides they feel many domains and each is ruled by a different diety omitting the one which stands seperate the eternal prison for the truly evil. the realm of torment.

Disciples 2 maybe, and the Demon faction in Heroes 3.
