The 3570 is over 4 times faster than the consoles CPU and on most games wouldn't even get to 60% usage (yes your more than fine).

I think for more than 90% of us this holds true. If he aims for 120Hz+ then he might have a bottleneck to worry about.

Once games start being coded for DX12 from scratch it wont be an issue even at stock clocks. But the problem right now and the near future, if you plan on maxing games beyond 1080p the gpu wont even reach the fps needed to make the 120hz+ worthwhile even with intel's better cpus.

There's still no real need to upgrade a 3570k for gaming, particularly if it's overclocked. I'm in the process of upgrading mine but only because I dropped my computer and the motherboard broke. I'd say get the 1080 before replacing your CPU.
