GTX 760 or 770 for 1080p gaming?

I am about to buy my graphics card for my new system. I will be playing at 1080p and want to have it look as nice as possible. I know the 770 will outperform the 760, but is it enough at 1080p to justify the extra money? If it helps I have 8 GB of RAM and an i5-3570k. Thanks!

personally, I would go with EVGA GTX 760 superclocked $259.99

Edit:  Amazon has sometimes weird shipping times, and this one seems to be 1-3 months.. There are other places to shop like Tigerdirect or Newegg.com. 

The MSI 760 is the coolest and quietest, the EVGA superclocked ACX is the fastest but slightly louder and hotter than the MSI - it's up to you.

The EVGA also has locked voltage, so OCing will be pretty tough. Mine wont OC even a little, so keep that in mind.  However, its very quiet to my ears and stays pretty cool. Idles at 28C and under load usually stays under 60c unless I'm stressing it with some ungodly settings or benchmark.

Games like Crysis 1 run badly on a 760.

With the new consoles, I am sure there are going to be games that need the raw power that the 760 doesn't have.

In some cases the 580 is faster than a 670 in Crysis 1 and the 580 is always faster in cuda applications.

Yes, a GTX760 will do fabulously in tackling 1080p gaming...  In a second rig I've got a GTX460 HAWK and that one handles games like Skyrim or Crysis on high settings in 1080p without breaking too much of a sweat...

well at least you can see the 770 is a lot faster

in cuda applications the 580 is better than all of them though,

I am sure games will take advantage of this somehow in the future in some way or another.

I currently using a GTX 680 for my 1080p gaming.Jd1680a

This...I just made a new rig with the GTX 680 2Gb, which performs fantastic for 1080p gaming, and its price has gone down substantially the last months.

I'm still waiting for a non reference design 760 4GB.

EVGA and Gigabyte have said they're making them, but I haven't seen any yet. Anyone have any news?
