I hope they can poilish up the MP side of the game. The SP demo is really really good and runs smooth on my PC. all in all from what ive seen of the SP demo i'll probably be pre ordering soon. Anyone else have opinions on the new SP demo?
I would have to agree with you, they need to polish the multiplayer side of the game. Other than that, it seems they improved a lot over the first GRAW game.
How does it compare graphically to the 360 version? I have a 360 as well, yet never played GRAW or GRAW2. I want to figure out whether to play the series on the 360 or go with the PC.
but By gameplay....the games are completly different on each platform....the PC version is much more tactical, slow paced, and mathotical, and really requires you to use your squad and plan complex assaults and such.
The 360 version, is much more run-and-gun...but still a great game.

I have yet to try out the multiplayer. How is it? Can anyone tell me about it? You guys mentioned they need to polish up the MP, but what do you mean? I've been looking for a really nice team-based multiplayer experience (I've been playing Call of Duty 2 if it's any consulation...I'm sick of it).

Screen GRAW2 SP
GRAW1 needed alot of work..it was still a great SP experience and very tactical and challenging. Most hardcore fans of Ghost Recon hated it but I took the game for what it is..a fun tactical FPS. Dont judge a game just by its graphics....although GRAW2 looks even more amazing than the first the gameplay in the SP demo shows that they have improved the game and I hope they can optimize and fix alot of the problems of the first game. Try the demos and judge for yourself.
GRAW 2 MP demo was alot better than the first but I found MP in GRAW 2 boring me after an hour or so. Maybe when I get more maps in the full release I will be more shall I say unbored with the MP lol.
does it have any R6: Vegas about it? ie. decent teammates, etc.HaloEleven
If you mean the cover style of vegas...no it's like all other fps game where you crouch or prone and peek around corners. I think the secondgrawSP will be as good as the R6V SP though.
GRAW2 Multi player is a huge improvement over the first and I like the fac that its more tactical and intense than other FPS games around now. Single player is real good too! Graphics are quite impressive, smooth gameplay and command map is really good. AI seems to have undergone a lot of improvements also.
Definitely recommend downloading the single player and multi player demo. For multi players, as always, having a clan or team with you provides the best fun in these type of tactical games :)
Have to agree, much better. I didnt like the first one, but just playing the demo(sp) it was much more optimized and gameplay was very enjoyable. Nice to look at to boot!
I want it,but refuse to buy for the reason of them making me Download drivers in my PC,for a physics card i dont have.Why do they make you do that?Dunno bout anyone else but when it comes to putting unecessary drivers in my PC for hardware i dont have,i dont like it.
Yea I dont like having to have to agia stuff either but i'll put up with it since i'm enjoying the game. it's so stupid that they make you download the agia software.
The game runs so smooth, and it isn't choppy like GRAW 1. The only thing I miss is how you are healed at checkpoints. But, at least I'm not taking damage because of AI glitches and what not marring the last game. An It doesn't have a 1-shot sniper rifle! And more than three weapons! This could in fact be the best GRAW, better than the 360! I haven't been this excited by a game since Oblivion!
GRAW 2 multiplayer really sucked , it became boring after 20 minutes playing. Also the optimazing sucked. Even 7600GT won't run it smooth on the lowest settings! like wtf? 7600GT is a nice card , but can't run it? They want too much!

If a game cant run on the current mainstream gpu (although it's being overtaken by the 8800gts 320mb as the new mainstream gpu) then you're in trouble.
