Nope its a really big job to match a GPU to a Motherboard, leave it to the profesionals if your unsure as things may go BOOM!!
That and for the price an AMD 6770/6790 or even better a 6850 ( for a bit more ) are much better optionsMore importantly, what power supply do you have?

I'm basically a PC amateur and I didn't even realize you had to take the motherboard into consideration. Wow. I want to eventually go with a 6770/5770, or a maybe a under 200.00 Nvidia card, and a upgraded power supply, so maybe I should check to see if the motherboard is compatible. How do you do that may I ask?

Look at pci-e slot x16, if it has that, the GPU fits.

I thought they were speaking in terms of motherboard specs, or something of that nature.[QUOTE="GTR12"][QUOTE="godzillavskong"]

True. So if the motherboard has the proper PCI slot, then you can use pretty much any video card you like, granted you have the proper power supply also?[QUOTE="GTR12"][QUOTE="godzillavskong"] I thought they were speaking in terms of motherboard specs, or something of that nature.godzillavskong
