Good RTS thats not fantasy and has good graphics?

You should try Command and Conquer 3, and Company of Heroes because the rest of my games I play that are good RTS's are fantasy related

Oh, and how could I forget Homeworld 2. Thanks for bringing up Sins since it reminded me of Relic's space-RTS gem.

I just grabbed Company Of Heroes and im enjoying it alot so far.

Yes it just looked ugly to me i did have it turned up to the highest and had forceware tweaked, patches installed and it looked bad the colour was awful to much bloody brown no one was wearing camo day or night was the same.

Total War Series...ANY, Sins, HW2, DoW, SupCom, CoH, and Command and Conquer: Generals, (AoE3 is good as well and it's got I wanna say 2 expansions)...oh and a throwback Empire Earth 2 is great but 3 completely dropped the ball

Should do you quite well. Oh and most of these have expansions (seems small but +expansions you've got literally days if not a solid week of RTS gaming ahead of u...Sins alone...I can't fathom it)

Really? I think it looks amazing. The graphics is picture perfect with it's WWII setting, kind of like a old film. I think the look is perfect for the past depiction of war. Seriously, what were you expecting, a colorful WWII setting with bright greens and neon effects? Play any WWII game and it will be similar. That's why the colors match well because it's based on the past.

It really is one of the best RTS ever, and my personal favorite.

Do you not like it because the way it looks or have you played it and not liked it? If you're judging based on the game's looks than all I can say is, you're missing out on a awesome game.

I have an 8800 GT so it isn't a bad card but i do agree with that other user saying for more Total War thats a lot better looking lovely colours lots of detailed units loads of meyhem in battle.

I have an 8800 GT so it isn't a bad card but i do agree with that other user saying for more Total War thats a lot better looking lovely colours lots of detailed units loads of meyhem in battle.

I know we are all entitled to our opinions but i have to say, this is tecnically stunning. To say this is an RTS makes it more amazing graphically.

Age of Mythology is great and is one of my favorite RTSs, but isn't that still fantasy?

I'll also recommed Age of Empires III series. It's really good and has good graphics.

What? are you serious? I'm afraid to ask what your specs are if you say you didn't play it on the highest settings (not to mention DX 10) and with tweaks? WTF, I have an 8800GT and I run it at 1440x900, 4xAA, maxed out, with DX 10 and you are telling me you can't with your 8800GT?

I said i maxed it out and it still looked ugly and lifeless i don't find its pretty game at all.

Age of Mythology should still be considered "fantasy," even though its source material is classical. There are mythical creatures and characters.

Total War is not exactly "RTS" -- the compaign itself is turn base city/kingdom management, and the combat (when you decide to do it yourself) is real time. of course you can buy the game and only play the combat, but it doesn't seem to be what the game supposed to be. it's a great game for sure, but not sure can be put together with AoM, CoH, C&C and etc...

also, not sure what kind of "graphic" would deem as "good" for OP. for newer generation of players, RoN, AoM and Homeworld might be considered as dated. and the arguement between Total War and CoH? both have top notch graphics. at higher res. the cut scene of CoH would appear to be lacking too much detail (the same goes for WiC), but when really in-game battling, CoH has as detailed and vivid graphic and animation a RTS can ask for (well, DoW 2 seems to aim at topping that!!) and Total War, it's all good. to me, they're both very pretty.
