Going back to WoW, Help!

I used to be a hardcore WoW player, a level 64 alliance shaman. I have been getting bored lately, so I am going back to WoW. This time I will be a casual/average gamer, instead of a hardcore one. I just would like some help to which class i should choose. I kind of want to expand what classes I like. Can anyone suggest me a good class like shaman? I want to be alliance, can you also tell me what the best alliance race is for it and the best professions for it? Ty.

Btw, I play on the alter of storms round. I'm apart of a cool guild that is casual, but we do lots of cool raids and dungeons. Just comment if your interested.

I like mage, but warlock sounds confusing with all there minion spells, casting spells, and debuffs. Pally looks really interesting, I can switch from healer to tank because of the new talent switching thing and the equipment thing.

Don't go for shaman,

go either for tanking class or healer, dps there are too many already.

healing does sound interesting, like with the new update were you can keep swapping your talents, I can heal as a paladin, then tank as one.

I love my druids... even though I only got one up to 46 (with RAF...) But my main was an 80 Rogue, and as much as I love rogues, I would suggest doing a hybrid class, like Druids or a Pally, there are too many DPS out there right now (or were when I quit)

Since you have a character that is at least lvl 55, you can roll up a death knight.

There's an expansion coming probably early next year. You'll find a lot of people levelling back up from 1-85 then.

I choose Paladin, Im already level 14, I did recruit a friend so i get triple xp. Its awesome.

That's the part where you need help.

Honestly I would finish your shaman but othewise i would play a warlock for allaince races human i play horde profession i would pick would be JC/ mining or enchanting/ tailor
