I think it's because if it got released on both the PC and Xbox 360 at the same time people would simply download it for PC instead of buying it for Xbox

Its all bull... the first gears was xbox exclusive and everyone was told the same thing.... untill a year later. May as well be a timed exclusive, its just they wont tell you that untill most people go out and buy the xbox version.

I waited for Gears of War to come out of PC a year, i think i can wait for Gears of War 2 considering i've seen the gameplay... not the best game in the world. With the PC version they will probably add some new content like in Gears of War.Blacklight2
