Garry's mod 10 Problem

Cuz i saw that ppl r realy dedicated here i taught i post this problem here cuz maby som1 will help I posted it b4 in Nvidia forums

Helo everybody.I have a problem wich i guess comes from my Nvidia card.I am very pleased of the card's performance thow i have a very cool game called Garry's mod v10 wich i once played it well and now i have this problem.

Whenever i hold something long for eg. Q (wich brings the item menu) and i hold it more than 1 sec it freezes and if i hold on presing for 10 secs and i release i have to wait another 10 secs so it unfreezes. I don't kno... it is a very werid freeze because i can still move the mouse and still hear ambient noises and the background still moves but the curent action freezes in whatever i do. Other eg. i walk (meaning W ) hold it for 10 secs. and again it walks and walks and if i don't release that buton i can't do anything else and even if i release i have to wait as many seconds as i holded. If in meantime the freeze i do something like walk left or right (A or D) it does the actions but very late. . I hope i described so som1 can help me . Thanx for any help.This is a weird thing it never hapened and i got many other games wich do not react like that

i suggest u look at this website, see if u can play it. all it does is scanns ur computer of all of the hard ware that u have and measures the speed. i looked i couldn't find garrys mod so i think u should look at half life 2 see what the specs r.

to me it sounds like u lag in some way maybe its the server that u joined.

my PC specs are very good and exceeds the game requirements.And i will try the Shift thing and see if it works thanx :D

Yea thanx guys it worked.The stick key thing worked :) thanks alot.1 more thing ... it says when i try to find servers that my game fersion doesn't match the server's O_o .Garry's mod 11 did not appear.What does that mean I have the latest version (10) that what says too that i need version 10 to play online but why can't I.By the way my game is Non-Steam.Any suggestions of what i might try ?Arhanghell

guys i need some help with garrys mod online when i press find servers i cant find any servers it says cannot connect to master servermaysim

Gonna be a Patch/Update problem. Sme one should point you were to get it cos i dunno :p

Hi again people,now i have a different problem with my garry's mod 11 (beta i think) :D ehhh soo here goes,i will try to explain as simple as possible and if you guys want more details please say it :

My game freezes my entire system when i stay to long in background menu or when i try to join any server or even when i hold Q pressed for too long ( like 15-25 seconds) it freezes completely.I ask help for this problem for anybody with good experience.I posted on facepunch studios and nobody seemed to know how to fix this weird problem :( .And if i offence anybody with my ,,unlegible post" i am sorry but i am not english

Actually buy the game and stop pirating it, maybe then it will work properly. It's only $9.99, you cheapo.

(There is no such thing as a legal non steam garrys mod, it is only sold through steam, therefore he pirated it)

Actually, there is Garry's Mod 9 that is free, but that is not nearly as fun as garry's mod 10. Also the only way I have seen of obtaining the Gmod 9 installer is to get it pirated, but after that it gets added to your steam games list and you can launch it from there, so in it's own sense, it is free.
