can anyone tell me some genuinely funny games? I don't mean funny because it was a badly made game and the quality is horrible, but because the designers actually made some really funny jokes in it? Like fallout 3 for example. I still want the game to be fun though. any suggestions?

games i already have or beat which meet criteria: portal, falout 3, team fortress, mgs 1 and 2, gta sa, gta 4

Grand Theft Auto has alot of funny things. Rockstar delibrately made Liberty City as a joke of NYC. A mature type of comical content that is.

both of the No One Lives Forever games are hillarious. Hiding around a corner and listening to evil henchmen discuss their evil organizations medical benefits and retirement programs are great.

I've been playing the new Prince of Persia, and it has some funny jokes. In fact, the humorous exchanges between the Prince and Elika is probably the best part of this game.

thanks guys, but I found an even better game, Barkley Shut up and Jam Gaiden. Its a basketball RPG. Possibly one of the funniest and most epic games I have ever played.

Portal, the Curse of Monkey Island, maybe Red Alert 3 (theres some tongue in cheek humour in that) - did you actually find Fallout 3 funny? I thought the bit with the cake at the beginning was hilarious but thats about it.

the Gabriel Knight series were said to be quite funny. i have only the 3rd game, and i can't say i disagree. Tim Curry was great with his surly voice-acting. :D

Honestly I can't remember any on PC but the greatest game for jokes is without question conkers bad fur day (conker live and reloaded) It just never stops being funny, here a game that was once for kids like 8yrs old and then suddenly it transforms into an epic of cartoon violence, none stop swearing and incredibly funny bosses. The game practically takes the pee out of a bunch of movies, one boss is a giant poo that sings opera and the end boss is an alien from the film Alien! Honestly theres more and if you don't believe me youtube it.

"Excuse me do you have the time?" "A dime, oohhh no I dont have a dime and ive not no time for beggars neither" "not a dime, the tiiime" "dont get snippy with me, ill have you arrested!" Its the accent that makes it funny though :) LOVED that game and NOLF2 with the kitty mines, banana traps and the Mime henchmen lol and the chase level where you're on a kidky trike lol

The two MDK games, Anachronox, and Freedom Force. All awesome, all have a bit of comic book influence, and all incredibly funny.

Fallout 3 may seem a serious game as a whole but on the sideline there's some really funny stuff ( like the G.O.A.T test for example, funny as hell)

When I've wanted humor I've always looked to adventure games. All these games a are hilarious. Also the new Sam and Max series's and the Discworld games are very funny.

I Remember a draw happend and a BLU pyro and a RED heavy did their killing taunts at the same time at each other up close. Next thing I saw we both their ragdolls thrown backwards. :shock:
