I wonder: Couple of games have files included like APEX*, cudart*, Physx* e.g. Borderlands 2, but: I noticed such games as: DMC Devil may Cry, not utilizing CPU or GPU. Dishonored, only utilizing CPU. Are all these games by default able to use (redirect) physx on hardware GPU or are some programmed with physx to simplify development?

If a game was built in the Unreal Engine, then it might have PhysX components in the software that aren't used since PhysX is a basic feature of the engine.

Thanks Barujin, That would explain a lot. But, in fact Dishonored uses CPU Physx whereas DMC uses none at all. Are these instructions not compatible -> redirectable to GPU instead? Tried "bDisablePhysXHardwareSupport=" from True to False but no change. (in BaseEngine.ini) ...

Is DMC listed as a PhysX game? If PhysX features were not put into the game, then no setting will enable it. As for CPU -> GPU, I don't know. Changing a setting in the config files might do that, but I have no experience with it. I may Google that out of curiosity.

EDIT: From what I found, your fix actually should have worked. You might check out compatability issues for your Nvidia card.

Is DMC listed as a PhysX game?

DmC is an "AMD Gaming Evolved" title, so PhysX support would not make sense.

Nvidia displays and intervents Physx > CPU message...
