Quick Summary: Acer E1-510-2500. Intel Celeron N282) (Dual Core) 2.13 GHz. I bought this because my normal laptop (Alienware 18) seems like desktop replacement, not good for portable games. ACER LAPTOP ACTUALLY HAS POTENTIAL. Not the best, but works well for price. 4 GB RAM too.
GAMES THAT I TRIED SO FAR (Capped 60 Frames):
Xonotic (High textures, everything else lowest/off: 60 FPS)
Nexuiz (High textures, everything else lowest/off: 60 FPS)
GTA San Andreas (1280x720 Widescreen, Shadows, No AA: 60 FPS)
StarCraft 2 (All lowest settings, 1280x720: 50 FPS No Combat, 10-20 With Combat)
FlatOut Ultimate Carnage (All lowest settings, 800x600: 5-10 FPS)
Minecraft (Any settings: 30-60 FPS)
ANYTHING 15-20 FPS I CAN OPTIMIZE TO 25-30! THAT IS OKAY I CAN FIX!
All other forums have people with VERY bad PCs. Laptop has potential, but does not play latest games.
GAMES NOT LOOKING/AM LOOKING FOR:
GTA: No, but yes to GTA similar (Not Saints Row)
Racing games, hopefully simulator.
Shooters. First or third person.
Hopefully 3D, but if very good say 2D please.
Humor would be fun. Ragdoll physics, creation. Like Garry's Mod?
