Recently when i've been playing Civilzation 4, the game will just quit on its own and go back to the desktop. I tried lowering the graphics level, and closing all other programs, yet the problem still occurs. I currently have 1 gig of memory. Any ideas as to whats happening and how to fix it?

OS? Graphics card? Sound card? Do you have the latest video drivers?

If this started happening after your upgrade, then (obviously) its related. Did you try uninstalling the ATI drivers, rebooting CLEAN, and reinstalling the latest Catalyst drivers?

It actually was happening before the upgrade. I thought it was the graphics card, and thats why I upgraded.

Its ok, I think it was a misunderstanding due to my "obviously" comment. That was more directed at myself, since I was making an obvious statement. :D It wasn't intended as a slight. I apologize if it came out that way.
