To be fair, I was disappointed a little because of the hype. Dam society! But I loved it, nonetheless.

Anyways, mine has to be the, (Not quoted right) "But comon, we had some fun moments...Like remember when you saw the burning flame and I said "Good bye", and then "I was just pretending". That was fun"

I personally liked during one of the earlier levels, your first encounter with the sewage-like toxic water at the bottom of levels. It said something along the lines of...

"If you fall into the water below, your marks will be seriously degraded, and you could potentially fail. Another side effect is death."

This thing makes shoes for orphans, so go ahead and destroy it.... hero.

If you like this thing so much why don't you marry it? You want that? WELL I WONT LET YOU! How does that feel.

Shall not be mourned, very formal, very official. And it says you were adopted, so it's funny too.

The game never picked up until the last level and then it ended after 10 mins, so it was like i dunno what all the hype is about.

Have you guys gone back and played the game with voice commentary? They actually have the lady who played the voice of GlaDOS and she is pretty funny in a cynical, feisty kinda way.mrbojangles25

yeah, intonation and pacing was a bit off, as if she were doing so on purpose (or she's really freaky). either way, i enjoyed her commentaries. she has a maniacal laugh. crazy lady. hope she gets hired by valve in the future.

ya, i think thats why she was so funny during the commentary. She was all serious and dramatic, then when she said something she thought was funny she let out this psycho laugh. Idunno, unique laughs are just a fetish of mine, even when theyre horrible laughs lol. Like the really hot girl with the really bad laugh from family guy!

this is great, as i just finished the game tonight and man i was not expecting sooo many funny moments and lines.

iirc they are definately on the mainland somewhere. At the end when the thing blows up you are treated to a view of the "surface world". As for the labs, I think theyre rivals of Black Mesa. Episode 3 should elaborate on this connection, and Episode 2 did mention the labs.

Actually doing it in the game, going through the motions, It's not really funny - in fact, it follows a contrived and computer game-y formula, but hearing it described, and worded and voiced like that, I just find it hilarious.

Really, I think it's hard to pick any one bit that was funnier than the rest - every laugh in there is a real laugh. Funniest game I've ever played.

That song, though - I love that song. I downloaded the mp3 of it and learned the words and now I sit and sing it under my breath at work. I've had some real funny looks from people overhearing some of those lines.

The cake is a lie is very funny, too. Just the utter surreality of it - here's hoping valve puts a The cake is a lie. tshirt on the valve store, or thinkgeek does something. I love stuff like that.

I laughed my ass off for a good five minutes when she said something like:

"Hallucinations are a common side effect of the companion cube. Rest assured that at no point will your Companion Cube ever threaten to stab you."

My favorite quote from the game... apart from the song at the end of course ;)

"The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you, and in fact cannot speak.
