FRAPS delay

any time i press "capture screen button" i have to wait for random (5-10-20) seconds before image is captured.

Anyone know how to fix this? Everything worked fine before :'(

Its set to "JPG" (default is "BMP") but before i didnt have problem like this :(

Its realy annoying when i see nice in-game event and want to capture it,but cant because fraps is sleeping :(

Are you by any chance saving the files to an external drive? I used to save videos to mine and if I hadn't used that drive in a few minutes, it would be on a sort of standby and it would pause to turn itself on fully again every time I tried to capture stuff.

Unlikely - but thats the only thing I can think of.
