While i wait i wanted to learn how to OC my cpu since i have no idea how to really do. so what programs do i need and are there any up to date noobie guides? google brings up 6-7 year old guides. Or can someone explain how to do it. for VGA OC can i just use powerstrip or is there better?

You don't need any programs to overclock your processor and RAM. The BIOS is the only thing you should be using, and if you don't feel comfortable using the BIOS, you shouldn't be overclocking.

As for the graphics card, overclocking can be done via software. For ATI ATITools and ATI Tray Tools are the preferred methods, and for Nvidia NTune and Riva Tuner are the two favourite programs last I checked.
