9/10 , comparing to best means alot..., if comparing to best you can get 8/10. For 10/10 you would need sli 8800 ultras, a qx6800, a phase change unit for cooling, and or peltier. BUT still a monster pc.

Your PC cooler. If your going to spend that much, at least get from top of the line:

http://www.anandtech.com/casecooling/showdoc.aspx?i=2943&p=3

There's your Zalman right there, on number 5. Get either the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme or the Tuniq Tower 120.

http://computers.pricegrabber.com/cooling-fans/m/38870611/search=thermalright+ultra+extreme

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835154001&ATT=35-154-001&CMP=OTC-pr1c3grabb3r

edit: they're cheaper too!

Would of cost like 3 grand if i wanted to do this with Dell. But in total inlcuding all the parts it was 1 grand and a bit.jjarvis321
It looks like those parts would cost you a little over 2 grand:?

Not too crazy about the Hard drive. I thought most drives come with 16MB Cache nowadays. And I would've gotten the X-Fi as opposed to the Audigy. Vista Home - No Comment.

Why Q6600 now? Unless this is a build you plan on ordering AFTER July 22, I'ts not a very bright move in my opinion. Either way, what you do with your money is your own business, nice rig to say the least.

Because im going to purchase a second graphic card of the same type to make it SLI in a few months from now. Plus i will get a better sound card too in the future, so im getting prepared now by purchasing a 1000w PSU. The more power the better right? :O

Ditto on that... With the "DIGITAL SATELLITE TV CARD", I would expect you might need more space anyway and NCQ support on most new SATA drives. I also would have gone UPS instead of just Surge Protector.

I'm not sure what planet you live on, but a 700watt PSU would work fine for that =P

9 out of 10.

To get 10/10 you would need SLI 8800 Ultra's
