Amazing story, I really ejoyed it. Tells a lot about why EVE is so great and about the human nature. Thanx for the link.

I have never played EVE but I have a little idea of how it works with the Corporations. That guy must be a bit of genius to be able to convince those guys and ruin it. Kudos to him.

This is a very old happening. Happened two years ago at the very least. Surprised the author waited until now to post it. The goons are in full swing and probably the most powerful they've ever been. Mittani is running the CSM and Goonwaffe - which is where most of the goons flocked to after this debacle - has so much territory their only true enemy is the Russians.

EVE is f***ing terrifying. All these stories of toll pirates, killing or charging people for entering new areas, people getting their corporations taken apart by anarchists or gold diggers with lots of time, etc.

Though if it was a bad company that was taken down, I salute this guy. Hopefully someone takes that banker scammer guy down a peg or two, if he hasn't already been destroyed (the one that ran a bank before taking every penny everyone ever put in for himself).

Fantastic read. I love EVE but I can never play for more than 1 month, I always end up taking a break. Time consuming and it's a way too serious MMO. I was kicked out of my previous corp for saying "lol". Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy EVE but sometimes I can't tell the difference with real life drama and EVE drama.

I don't get how he got the Auditor to say he was the leader or what his deal was that he made with the leader.

Probably the two are related or it's obvious and I just missed it.

But cool. A guy a know told me about EVE in the summer. It seemed really cool, but a lot of work to get into.

Can anybody actually verify the story? Doesn't seem like anybody believes him in the comments.

I've said it before and I'll continue to say it; EVE is the greatest f***ing thing ever created. The sheer amount of amazing-ass stories that come out of that game is astonishing.

It is but its not like such stuffs happen every second of every minute of every hour. Well it sorta does but not really. Ok I'm not making this any better I think.. It actually is like real life, really. There are bad guys, evil guys etc etc around...the bad neighbourhoods but use your common sense and you'll be ok.

I think I remember reading this story a few years ago, but I recall it being much longer. Maybe I'm thinking of something else, but it was definitely EVE.

I have absolutely no idea, what I just read. I don't think I've ever been more confused. Was I ready something about real life, a science fiction novel or a computer game?

That's great, just a shame about the ending. All that effort for [the thing happened].
