Empire Total War - Can you run it?

This game promises to tax computers more than Crysis, but what do you think will be the minimum system requirements? I don't mean the minimun to play the game (those have already been released) - I mean the minimun to max this beast (without low/no AA at 1650x1080)?

My guess:
Processor: At least 3.4 Ghz Dual Core (if optimized for Quads - 3.2 Ghz Quad)

RAM: At least 2 GB XP / 4 GB Vista

GPU: At least a ATI 4870 / NVIDIA 260

You mis-read, he said what will the recommended be.

I wouldn't guess that high... 3.2ghz for quad is rediculous when its a game optimized for Quads.

Well if you just want to be able to run it here are the requirements:

OS - XP or Vista 32
Processor - Intel 2.4ghz or equivalent
RAM - 2GB (Vista) 1GB (XP)
GPU - 256MB Card, DirectX 9.0
HDD Space - 15GB

I believe he means the recommended specs. I don't think they will be as high as he says. 3.2GHz QUAD what ever for?teddyrob

It was the day I purchased supreme Commander that I learned never to trust the minimum requirements of the latest games My Poor 2.2ghz never saw it coming lol Always try to get a mix of the recommended and minimum if your PC is getting on a little bit But when in doubt...find the demo version of the game, or use the "System requirement lab" (Google it) Joker1232003
