Elder Scrolls Online at E3 - In-Game footage

So here is the first in-game footage - what do you guys think of the art style? For me personally it's a bit too cartoony for an elder scrolls game.

They captured the look of tamriel well, however I would like some atual gameplay.

The look fits the Elder Scrolls universe pretty well. I just hope the gameplay is different enough.

If it's not 100% sandbox he bashes it so I would not pay too much attention to his opinion. It's as biased as CNN/FOX....nothing personal but your opinion is made before you even see a game if it isn't sandbox.

Question is, is everyone going to get a ticket to board this hype machine like a certain other MMO and get disappointed or are we going to play the caution card and wait for it? xXDrPainXx

Caution Card. I went out and spent £44.99 on SWTOR at launch and haven't played past the first month. (will go back for 1.3). I will never buy a game until the community reaction comes in.

Tera isn't a sandbox and I thought it was pretty fun during the beta.

Anyway, from experiencing both sides of the coin, I just can't see what people find fun about theme-park MMORPGs. They seem pointless to me, they seem more like single player RPGs but with large scale co-op and big arenas with scenarios.

Looks like rehashed Oblivion at first glance... WoW killer, silly me.

Will play it a bit if it goes free though

Well we haven't seen any gameplay - let's hope the combat system will be decent.. Then I might get into it...

The servers are only gonna be 200 players max. I think they have something up their sleeves. I'm not on the hype-train but I'm looking forward to seeing what happens. Real-time combat would be nice to have, so would day and night cycles and moon cycles so you could actually have werewolves that sync with the phase of the moon. PVP in the 200 person world with real-time combat when you are a werwolf :3.
