EAX 4.0 and CPU processing

Hey!

So I'm getting a new computer this week and I was wondering, how much of a toll is eax 4.0 going to be on my computer if I'm running it over a plain old Audigy SE. Am I going to see some frame rate drops or anything since I am not using and X-Fi Gamer?

My important specs: 8800gts 320 mb, 2 gig Corsair 800mhz, AMD X2 4600+.

Out of the box with the drivers on the cd, no, but with the new drivers, yes.

It is advertised as 3.0 because that was the only thing out at the time.
