Hi, I'm planning on changing my monitor setup, but I can't decide if I should sell my current 1680 1050 monitor and get a single 1080p monitor, or keep my current monitor and buy a second one(same dual monitors). I play FPS, RTS, racing simulator games(own a Logitech g25). Thanks for suggestions.

It's not wise to game on two monitors. So you will have use 1 monitor for gaming and another as a accessory monitor, if you go 1680 x 1050 (x2). What is your budget?

Go either single 1080p or triple 1050p.

Just go one monitor, the 1GB card will have trouble pushing 2 monitors while gaming.

Get the second 1680x1050 monitor but don't use it for gaming.

Get just the single 1080p monitor. Dual monitor is not too useful in gaming in most instances. Then you can use your new monitor as your primary and keep your old monitor in a dual monitor setup. I have a dual monitor setup myself, but only because I have one computer monitor and my plasma TV as my second (for movies/shows and multi-platform games).

I'd go for 2 monitors. I would if i had more desk space.
