Generally speaking, Halo games get ported to the PC 2 years after they show up on the Xbox. Halo 1 and 2 did that, anyway, although Halo 3 obviously isn't (unless it's coming out next month for PC and we haven't heard a single word of it :p). My guess is that it'll come to PC when Microsoft's sure that no one else is going to buy a 360 for Halo 3, but that might not be for a while.
Halo 3 will probably be used to try and sell a futureOS or something, like they did with halo 2 and vista.
If they put a lot of work into it and revamped it for PC it could be great. but seeing how they did such a bad job with the last two portsi don't see it happening. Halo 3 is where it belongs, on the 360.
