Do You Keep Your Laptop Inside a Bag/Case When Not in Use?

Esp. at night? Or do you just leave it where it is? Just a new laptop owner, so wondering how you guys keep it.

I only store it in my case when I'm carrying it around with me. If I am at home I just leave it.

when i first bought the laptop i used to put it in a case and fold up the cable neatly, now i cant be bothered so just close the lid unplug it and put it on my desk.
