Looking at my time spent playing Prototype, I have spent 74 hours going through the storyline, from start to finish, one time. People I know have played Prototype for only 15 hours, also going through the storyline once.

I like to take my time playing through my games, either going through the same mission multiple times, exploring, killing stuff for no reason, or just goofying off for a few hours with no progress at all. Thats just how I like to play my games.

obviously, it depends entirely on the game. I completed every quest possible in Fallout 3, but I got through Cryostasis without dawdling for a second (not to say that it isn't a fun game; to the contrary, it's absolutely fantastic). I mostly take my time and enjoy the games, if I had to give a general answer.

When I play games I like to savour the experience so I don't rush it, I explore alot, enjoy the experience, but I don't necessarily go slow either.

I generally like to explore as much as possible. When I can, I like to hunt down every last enemy. I usually run through games faster second time around.

I like to take my time, but I don't like doing stupid stuff (running around in circles, for example, something my brother does to no end and it annoys the crap out of me)

I find when I am enjoying the game I take my time but if I am not enjoying the game than I try to breeze through it more.

It really depends what genre! If we're talking RPGs or sandbox games I take a lot of time over doing seperate quests or side missions. On the otherhand, I breeze through purely driving games at a blistering pace such as burnout paradise or DiRT!

depends on what part interests me the most, a game like fallout 3 I strongly avoid the main questline (about 5 hours long) and do side quest lasting me around 40 hours. Guild Wars another one where I do side quests. Some games however have more interesting stories than random quests. I didn't try to rush through prototype too much, I just was more interested in the story missions than the strike team action. I just try to play whats natural :P

Only my first runthroughs, I wouldn't want to miss anything then come back knowing you'll never able to get it again.

I usually take my time when playing through game, Once & this is real I played a Civ IV custom match & it took me from 2005 - 2008 to finish it, off course i didn't play it on daily basis, it was more like a couple of hours every week, it depended on my mood. :P anyway i like to take my time. but if i hated the game I usually play through it fast just to finish it.

I generally prefer to take my damn sweet time. Mainly to explore the game itself and see what I can pull off. I.e. RA2: I will take my damn sweet time in certain missions since I feel a dire urge to spam Telsa IFVs for the fun of it.

I usually play games on the hardest difficulty setting, assuming it isn't unbearably hard. Don't rush, but don't try and squeeze every inch out of the gameplay that I can, unless the game is really grea.t
