Do people still play Call of duty4 PC?

Planning to get a gaming PC soon and wondering if people still play cod4 pc?

I assume people will always play that game.

I wish, but I can never get punkbuster to work and I really just want to play the game normally without all those silly mods.

All you need to do is download and update punkbuster manually for COD 4

First PB thought I was hacking, and after I fixed that issue I get a problem where I can join a game but the entire level is empty.

Yep, definitely. It's always been pretty active.

Pretty active still, but last time I was online it was crawling with hackers and it ruined it for me..
