is it just me or are games relitivly unstable on Direct X 10?

im willing to bet everyones gonna say its just my system

but still

is there anyone out there who thinks directX 9 runs better than X10?

and i realise this is both NOT a hardware question (there is no PC software and no DirectX is not a game) and this is a XP vs. Vista Question

What do you mean by unstable? Crashing? Yes, probably something specific to your system. There have also been no games built for directx 10, only directx 9 with dx10 extensions...

If the developers properly put effort into DX10 then it would be faster nad better than DX9,,,unfortunately they dont! Luckily DX11 looks like it will sovle that problem!

im srry. but maybe its your machine. far cry 2 only drops 2-4 fps in directx 10 mode. so going from 40 fps to 37ish isnt that bad for me.
