It is not that I Dislike Diablo 2, but I preferred D1, and I found D2 to be little more then a mp version of D1 (I know there was mp in D1, but D2 was made with mp in mind).
PS:T is a deep rpg, where D2 requires less thought then sleeping :S (not that it is a bad thing for d2, it is a pure actiongame afterall).
PS:T involves more thought alot more talking, and has less combat... aka it is an rpg, where I still refuse to call the Diablo series for RPG (I still call them hack&slash, since that is what they basicly are)
I have only played Diablo 2 and not for very long (got bored after the first act at level 17 :P) I have ADD, I hate reading, and I don't like to pause and play so I'll go with Diablo 2! :D Although sometimes I like a good story and I really like 'choose your own adventure' kind of stuff so I'll go with PS:T for story and adventuring.
They are compltely different games, I see no point in comparing them. That's like asking which is better: Carmageddon or GTA. Depends on which kind do you prefer.
