Dell Inspiron 530 and Nvidia 8800 GT question

My buddy wants to know if this card will be able to work with this computer's standard power supply if he's getting the q6600 quad core processor (since I think that one comes with a different PSU)

Building it himself is not an option, he just really needs an answer about htis

450 watt PSU is at minimum, try 500 watt or more...

Not exactly, you could certainly run most anything on a 400, but you have to keep in mind that if you want to do this you have to make sure your PSU has a good 12V rail. If you don't know anything about PSU, then I would buy a brand like Corsair, Antec, or Thermaltake and meet the recommended Watts for the Video Card (it usually says).
