Dark Athena worth the $5?

Go for it. Multi-player is pretty much abandoned though. However, you get Butcher Bay remastered version with Darth Athena (great deal if you haven't played Butcher Bay yet)

Yeah, it's worth it even if you already own Escape from Butcher Bay. It's definitely not as great as the last game, but still fun.

Definitely worth it because you get Butcher Bay too (Dark Athena was a waste of time for me, too much action near the end). Hrmm.... anyone know if the steam version comes packaged with that horrible Securom (or was it Tages?) DRM?

It has the remastered version of Butcher bay, buy i never bought it, since i have the The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay - Developer's Cut, which is perfectly fine, and maxed out it looks beautiful, thanks to it's engine.

And the original Escape From Butcher Bay is easily worth a human sacrifice.

It's one of the greatest games ever created, it's simply a wonder that you have not played it yet.

I had an issue with the Tages DRM that stopped me from playing the game for a few days (had to go to their site and read through several FAQs), but the game itself is great. BB still holds up today and DA is fun but repetitive.

Just bought it. Thanks for the heads up, would have missed it otherwise.

the original, Escape From Butcher Bay, is included and remastered. That alone is worth 5 bucks. Dark Athena is excellent as well; not as good as the first imo.
