Cube World Thoughts

So, this game looks really interesting.  I was thinking about buying into the Alpha, but did not know how stable the game is at this point.  Also, by purchasing the Alpha are you intitled to the full release when it becomes avaliable.

I haven't had any stability issues. I've been messing around with it the past few days and it's a fun little diversion. Right now it's pretty much just an open world (no quests, really) but it has a certain charm to it. I'm pretty sure if you buy it now you get all the updates so there's nothing to really worry about. I haven't had a chance to play it on-line but I think with others it could be a bit more interesting.

I've played it online with about 4 others and haven't really found any major problems.

It's a neat Minecraft-esque game except for the mobs ingame kick my arse every time. Is there a way to properly fight them?

Once you get a group together and level up, get gliders and boats and upgrade your weapons its soooo fun.

THe first hour or two I wa son my own I wa slike wtf is this.

Me and my two buddies played 6 hours straight oen day then 5 the next day, we was hooked no doubt! Very good shapre for an early alpha imo. The controls and movement and combat are very well done.

Going from mounting an animal to using your glider in one smooth move is soooo fun.

Performance and stability exceeded my expectations from a Alpha... That said the game may not be worth it and or what you think it is. It's a shallow RPG that looks like minecraft... The fun is only there if you play with others if you don't you fun could only last for about several hours before you start browsing the steam sales for a quick pick me up.Grey_Eyed_Elf

That is not true at all, already played over 20 hours and all i want to do is play more. There is tons fo different areas and different monsterséenemies to fight and a godo amount of upgrading and specializaing of weapons to. 20+ hours and not bored one bit, once we learned everything the game offers we started having a blast, infact, it gets more fun as we play.

People need to learn the game actually before saying some of these things. If you are having trouble then get some friends, dont attack super hard enemies until ya character is good enough and USE DODGE! ,etc..

Has nothing to do with minecraft, ya daughter is wrong.

Its more rpg than building game like minecraft. The only thing similair is teh graphics style but even that there is alto fo differences, such as Cube world being more colorful,etc..

Has more in common with WOW, Terraria, Diablo2, Zelda and Secret Of Mana than it does minecraft. Infact, all my friends that went in thinking MINECRAFT /2 where dissapointed. Its more based around combat than building.

Then again.. this is Skareo... sort of expect some kind of ignorance, Minecraft clone it is NOT.

Use dodge, get some friends and learn to take on only a few at a time unless they are weak enemies.

Like Morrowind years ago, if you venture out at the start and atttack everythign you will get ya butt kicked. The enemies dont level up with ya, so there will always be some enemies much better than you.

Also if you are stuck or have things you dont understand, check out some youtube videos, they are helpful.

15 bucks I think its worth a try. I don't really have a setup of friends to play with but I will try it.Arthas045
