Core 2 Quad price drop any time soon?

I was just wondering that since now the new LGA 1156 processors are out if there will be a price drop on the Q9550 or the Q9650. At its current price point of $319 the Q9650 seems over priced compared the the i7 860 at $299, its cheaper and out performs the Q9650.

I just want to upgrade for the fun of it, but am not ready to ditch my mobo and ram just yet.

Either go for the lower I-7s (far better than the Core 2 Quads, and the 920 is in the $200 range) or get a Phenom II. I run the 940, and it's fantastic for the price (around $140).IMaBIOHAZARD

lol yeah the motherboard is fairly new so i didnt want to replace it, just wanted an upgrade from my core 2 duo.

yes it will especally with the release of teh i5's
