I shut my computer off at night and upon startup the display goes to safe mode and it installs the wrong drivers each time. I reinstalled the right ones for my card but it didn't help. I also scanned my computer for viruses but it didn't have any. I don't know what is going on. I have a 1Gb gtx 550 ti, and it always installs something else.

I would look at the registry. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run might have a leftover entry from a botched install. See if you can copy the contents of those two keys here.
