Hey guys,

I'm in the process of building a rig, and I'm currently looking for RAM. I have an i5-3570k and will most likely be getting a 660ti. I have been looking into RAM, and it seems that a 1600mhz set like this from Corsair: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145345 is a good choice. However, it's not listed under the supported RAM sets on Gigabyte's website: http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-z77x-ud5h.pdf

Does anyone know if this RAM would be supported? The UD5H needs dual channel memory, which is what the Corsair is.

Also, do you guys have any other suggestions for RAM? I plan to overclock my CPU. I'm not sure about my RAM (as I don't know if there's a significant performance increase or not).

Thanks

Motherboard manufacturers never list all models from companies , but if they support the brand any memory model should and will work from that company.

Yes that RAM will work fine with that motherboard. I have the same RAM in my Z77X-D3H

IMO if you are buying RAM to help with a CPU OC, you are grasping at straws.

I use that same RAM, FWIW.
