codwaw sp nazi zombie maps ??

hi.

i have the retail pc disc game codwaw.

if i read and understand right. it is some maps for codwaw sp nazi zombies. i dont play mp games. but extra maps for nazi zombies sp would be great. is it true you can get sp maps. is it hell to install them? is it other sp maps i can install and play just bot matches?? i think i read id have to go into the console and pick the map id like to play or go into mods from the games gui and pick the map id like to play. im not sure which or if both are right? if i read right. its like 13 or so sp nazi maps i can install. that would be really sweet..

any way. as soon as i record cod4mw. i will delete it and re install codwaw. i deleted codwaw. because i cant figure out how to lower the skill level in nazi zombies. i set it most high setting to test it out but cant get past level 10. so i wanted to lower it a lil and cant. not even after playing a new game. it kind of sucks really and it is not set at what i set the normal game play through at. or cant change it or i just dont know how. so i deleted it. and being my main hdd is only 160 gigs. i install games im playing or recording and delete them when done.. ya i have larger hdd. but they take more times scanning or defrags etc. so i like 200gigs or under for my main c: drives and gaming reasons.

any help on the sp nazi zombie maps would be great.. thanks in advance..:D

I'm assuming you have the retail version of CoD:WaW as the Steam version automatically updates for you.

If so, go to the Call of Duty website and there are six patches. I believe you have to install them in order, from 1.1-1.6, but I'm not sure. You should probably look that up. The patches contain Map Packs 1-3, which will give you 3 extra Nazi Zombie maps.

As for the difficulty, it's set at that level. You could look up strategies on Google, but I really recommend playing with other people. Especially in other maps, it's vital that you have more than one person in order to experience everything the levels have to offer. Although, it's a real pain getting into a match. Don't even bother looking for only the NZ mode, as 99% of people are going to be changing game settings to it anyways.

man have to install all patches 1 at a time is a bite but no problem. and no. i refuse to play mp games. lil is honest in mp games many are hack cheaters. they can cheat un detected. most dial it back so not to be noticed.. ha ha some noob hackers post videos using the cheats in mp.at least they prove the games are cheated. they can dial that stuff up and down. id rather play alone..

any way. im not sure if you have played codwaw or not. but you start a new game you have to set the skill level. end of game you can play nazi zombies or any other level in the game. each level even nazi zombies you have to set the skill setting for it. each level you have to set it how you want. but you cant change it. not even if you start a new game. all you can change is the full game new game skill.. its kind of stupid and confusing maybe. but thats it..

its about 14 co op- sp nazi zombie maps. i cant find the link now i was reading it last night. most of them are not in the map packs. i think they are installed as or into mods..

google search.this nazi zombie map pack says its 28 maps. im not sure if it is co op- sp or not but says you can play them after you finish the game just like i guess normal nazi zombi map..>

man. if i can play all of these maps and maybe get more codwaw will be a sweet game for sure. normal sp game is too short imo. but i like fighting the zombies and can play the 1 map for ever.. but more maps would be even better..

im downloading the file planet 28 zombie map pack now.. 1.37gigs but my connection in my sig rocks. so it should not take to long. hell i might reinstall this game this eve.. and hurry through the game so i can play the zombies.. ha ha..

hmm. im not trying to get in trouble. im not sure if i should have posted the file planet link here or not.. im not trying to hurt gamespot in any way.. im just trying to help my self and others that might like the extra nazi zombie maps. and maybe not know about them etc.

13-14 player zombies sounds like some kind of mod or special server.

sorry dan. but that is not what i typed. i said it was 13 to 14 nazi zombie maps. or this map pack link i posted has 28 maps. i said nothing about how many bots or zombies are in each map..

and as best i can read. to play the maps solo. i have to go into the console and type..>

SOLO Playing: If you wish to play alone then open console- say for zombie villa

(~) and type "/map nazi_zombie_villa2"

if playing co op i can play right from mods..

but again. another post says you play the maps by typing this. from console. say for zombie prototype..>

so im not sure what is right. i guess i have to experiment. why this cant be made easy i dont know..

any way. the 28 maps pack was last updated in july. so its newer maps out right now and some are in the official patches if im not mistaken. i have to go take care of something. ive already deleted a few games and defraged etc. when i get back i will install the game codwaw and see what its patched to and download the patches.. took about 20 minutes to download the 28 map pack 1.37 gigs.. in fact im going to let my system download the last 2 patches while im gone for about an hour or so.. they are large files.. so..

well seems. i do not have to download all patches 1 at a time.. this ultimate patch has them all from 1.1 to 1.6. its size is 3,671.4 mb it should be done by the time i get home.. sweet.. thats what over a 3 gig file size?

cool. i just walked in and my down load just finished. took about a hour 35 minutes. for the free service. not bad really 3.8 gigs. oh ya. its not just 1 large patch its all 6 stand alonein 1 download.. thats still cool tho. im ready to go now..

i will post back here when i finish the game and can start playing the zombie maps. post some screens and im sure i will make videos too. so. and i might look for and install other maps too. i want to see what all is going to be installed first. then i can hunt new maps.. gees my codwaw program file is going to be huge. but ive had my ut04 file a lot larger im sure..

the 3 new zombie maps in the patches are cool. ive been playing der riese all day for 3 days trying to master it and open up everything. i got everything opened up. but have not teleported yet or used the pack a punch machine.. i die before i can make enough money. but i have the teleports linked up. the zombies are a trip. and the hell hounds are cool too. nazi zombies adds new life and a lot more game play to codwaw for us sp players. but id guess co op and mp would be cool too. i dont care for mp games tho. but if i had friends with codwaw- co op might be sweet..

oh ya. i installed a ton of other maps for nazi zombies. about 30 total. but a few did not want to work but..

install them to mods folder.. then in gui [mods] high light the map in list then press load or play what ever it is at the bottom of the screen. wait a few seconds for the screen to go blank and then pop back up-- dont worry it dont crash and will come back.. then i go back to mods. high light the map. then press ~ for console and say for map china type this and it works..>

/map nazi_zombie_china

then press- enter and it loads up the map and you can play in solo or sp mode. sweet. later i will post some screens and movies. soon i will be at level 10 here at gamespot and i can upload videos here. that will be cool i think.. i need to upload more screens here too..
