Check your steam games list, if you signed up for the filmmaker you might have it now. I just checked today and I got it. A ton of my friends just got it today too

it seems a bit buggy. It never lets me quit the filmmaker right. As in a quit, but steam never acknowledges that i quit, i have to kill the steam process and relaunch. I wonder if killing the filmmaker process instead would be better
man it is really hard to get a hang of. of course i've only been messing around with it for one day, but i cant get anything to work the way i want it to
I'm not interest in the game, but because I didn't get picked, I'm disappointment for some reason. :x
seems nice, but you still have to extractmodels and then create animations in an external program like blender or w/e floats your boat
useful for playing those animations in a scene though
You can animate in the sfm. It even has the ability to use nice IK rigs.seems nice, but you still have to extractmodels and then create animations in an external program like blender or w/e floats your boat

I'm assuming that you are talking about the leaked one from the tf2 beta. That thing is almost half a decade old, probably has changed a bit. If you want to see what the SFM can do for animations, go watch Meet the Medic or Pyro, the dota 2 trailer or other newer Valve trailer, the animations for them were done in the filmmaker. Please Log In to post.
