CAn I run Borderlands with my specs....

Manufacturer: Intel, I guess
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 2GB RAM
Hard Drive: 410 GB Total
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 1gb
Monitor: CRT
Sound Card: Realtek HD Audio output
Speakers/Headphones: Creative SBS 245 Speakers and A4tech Hs-5P
Keyboard: USB Root Hub A4 TECH
Mouse: A4TECH OP-620D (Optical with cord)
Mouse Surface: Desk
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.090206-1233)
Motherboard: Intel DG31PR

wat res? setting? You guys think my CPU will be a huge bottleneck

yes but the cpu is sort of weak but sure the game isn't that hard to run anyway

what kind of a prebuilt is this? combining the E2180 with a 9800GT? but it will run it no doubt.

I don't think the specs reaches the maximum setting but the specs is enough to run the game.

I have an 8800GT (similar to your video card) and i run it at 60fps constant @ 1440x900.

look, i got an athlon x 2 64 (3800), 3 gigs of ram and a gtx 260 which is easily better than that card you've got and it runs on full detail at an average of 25 fps i'd say, so YES you can run it, just not on full detail. If you want specific advice turn dynamic shadows and anisotropic filtering off.

Well, the game seems to be pretty good about figuring out what settings you are able to run off default, because on my system, it pretty much had everything maxed out, except for the resolution. All I had to do there was bump that up. :D Even then, nary a hiccup that would take me out of the game to ponder about.
