Hey-I don't typically post in the PC section, but I have a dilemma...I'm about to enter med school and so I intend to get a new laptop (the one I have is loud heavy and has a short battery life and, in general, is no good for taking to class or doing a ton of stuff with)...I'm trying to decide between the desktop replacement computers that I know would be excellent, and this laptop (which weighs less than 5 pds and has all the features I would want in a laptop...except I don't know how well it plays games it doesn't have HDMI output).

 Anyways, this computer has:

1.8 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-56 dual-core processor

NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 with up to 320 mb shared memory (i don't know what that means)

What sort of games would this computer play (would it play Morrowind, could it play Oblivion)?  If anyone else has experience with this computer, would you recommend it?  Why or why not?

 Thanks for all your help!!

you definitly need to upgrade your graphic card. your 6150 is weak.

before i'd buy that copmputer, i'd choose the Nvidia 7600 go option, anything that isnt a multiple of 100 in nvidia cards sux, as the 6150 is just slow, very slow, not a gamers option.

They don't have any other options, unfortunately.

Can I install my own graphics card in the laptop after I get it?  Anyone know how much that would cost?

nope, in laptops you cannot install a graphics card inside, but some new external graphics solution is coming out soon I think, which you can plug into a slot in the laptop
