im going for around $1000-$1200...buying prebuilt and will OC and upgrade

my question is, how good will it run games like AION, cod4, farcry 2. right now

i also want it to be somewhat future proof as in it should last me for the next 4-5 years.

i am also planing to get starcraft 2 and mass effect 2. how do u think it will play those? i might get another 285 down the road.

specs:

quad core q9400 2.6ghz (will OC to 3.6ish)

4 gb ram ddr2 (upgrade as i get the money)

gtx 285

650i sli chipset

Its a pretty good PC, although I'd suggest building your own OR buying the parts and asking some professional to build. It'd be a much more strong build. I'd also suggest holding till DX11 GPUs for the new cards or for price drops.

There is no way a that PC is gonna last you 4 years. Build yourself a nice core i5/i7 setup.
