Hey guys I need your expertise!

So like topic says I'm getting new cpu and mobo, but im at a loss when it comes for the memory.

I know the g.skill are made for ryzen cpu so im looking into that, but I found 2 models who appears to be the same but have different codes : https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Productcompare?CompareItemList=20-232-530%2C20-232-767

One is 200$ and the other 120$... When I compare them I can't seem anything different about them, yet the most expensive one (the 3200C14D) is the one people are using in their build up videos.

Can someone tell me the difference between them, or send me a link to the right memory I need to get for this rig ?

Thanks guys!

AMD's Ryzen 2000 series and 400 series of motherboards are much more flexible when it comes to memory speeds and brands. So you dont have to buy the Flare series. Looking through the motherboard supported memory list for Ryzen 2000's there are quite a few that work just fine at the motherboard's 3200mhz spec.

Here is the list , look for the ones that have the two DIMM support

Link

But to answer your question is that the $200 Flare X timings are much lower which is why is a bit more expensive.
