I will say, what most people will say. 10,000 rpm drives aren't really worth it. They cost a lot more and the speed isn't going to justify the cost when you could have a 320gb western digital hd for 80 bucks.

I would aviod the ram called "Super Talent" and go for the Cosair Dominator ram DDR 800. Also pick up a GTX instead of a GTS. Everything else looks to be nice.

Good choice! Evga is the best! They have a 90 day Step-up Program, also if you register your product you get a lifetime warranty.

lol yeah the benchmark differences between the two cards are pretty significant, on top of that the gts has 32 less shaders and a few other minor things. The gts = $350 with the rebate, and the gtx = over $600 (w/ tax) for the over clocked one but it comes with a 20 dollar rebate..lmao

Hey, no prob.

As for the GTX being worth it...ehh, depends on what you consider worth it.
The GTX is very fast (see here: http://www.guru3d.com/article/Videocards/391/17/), but it's very expensive.
It's worth it if you want to game at the native resolution of a 24"+ LCD, but if you don't have a super high resolution monitor, it's not worth it.

You will love the GTX, one of my friends has a GTS and you can noticeably see the performance differences in games. In RSV for example he gets choppy FPS, with the GTX I get a good 15-20 more FPS than him. His specs are close to mine.

Looks good, except pick up some corsair xms ram instead, u never wanna cut costs on RAM. Also, I would reccomend getting a basic sound card at least, even if you aren't an audiophile.
X-fi Audio $45
Also, as someone else mentioned above, don't waste money on a 10,000 RPM hdd. The price/performance gain isn't worth it. If anything, get another hdd and set up raid 0 (although your data is less secure that way.) I would also wait a couple weeks, the Core 2 Quad Q6600 is supposed to drop in price to the low $400's I believe.. that would be worth an extra $80 if I were you. And also, an 8800gtx would be a better choice.

I am assuming you allready have a monitor and speakers. If you don't have nice speakers/monitor, it would be a higher priority for me to get some entertainment quality peripherals before blowing my cash on a 10,000 rpm hdd.

Don't you mean the Quad 6700? I know a place where you can get the 6600 for $380 Canadian already.

Nope.  There is a quad core processor coming out that will be clocked at 2.4GHz, the same as the Core 2 Duo E6600, and it will be called the Core 2 Quad Q6600.

Looks like some good advice...above... I've read many times, don't go cheap with the ram. I'll add one more idea, consider going with sata for your optical drives. IDE is on the way out

Yes, and now that I think of it, get SATA because IDE cables are the devil :'(.
