So I have been looking to upgrade a computer that needs a new mobo and processor. I have a budget of about $350 and was looking at the following:

PROCESSOR -Intel Core i5-2320, 3.00GHz, w/ a 6 mb cache
MOBO -Asus P8H61-M LE/CSM Rev 3.0 w/ Dual DDR3 1333, 7.1 Audio, Gigabit Lan, PCI-E
RAM - Vengeance 4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 DIMM

I honestly have no idea what I am looking for in terms of MoBo and RAM. I was hoping you guys could let me know if what I chose is decent. thanks in advance! :D

no dont do that.. ever

the 2300 is pretty bad for gaming. ill be honest wit chu it doesnt even beat some i5 neahelm quad cores...

okay so here is what i recommend and the rage that follows be damned here we go!:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157276

Asrock icafe870 am3+ motherboard $85 (2 card crossfire compliant)

and now for the rage inducing bit:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.756837

amd fx-6100 "bulldozer zambezi" hexa-core /w g.skill ripjaw 8gb kit & a free dvd-burner

$227

tada you now preform almost match an i7 920 neahelm get more ram and crossfire and a new dvd-burner for a grand total of $312 before handling (free shipping on this enitre thing)
