BLITZKRIEG ANTHOLOGY in widescreen?

can anyone confirm this game supports widescreen resolutions & how mush it can go up.

I had the original Blitzkrieg in widescreen although the game is not currently installed. I would imagine there's native support for widescreen or else it's just a matter of editing the config file.

hey that shot looks good what res is it at can it go upto 1680x1050 or 1080p?

The image size is 1024x640 which is Photobucket's native image size. I think I had the game installed using a resolution of 1440x900. I last recall playing it before I went to 1080p. It should reach 1080p with no problem.

can you try the game again to check if it really can go upto 1080p.

I installed the CD version of Blitzkrieg again. The maximum 16:9 resolution it will do is 1600x900. No native 1080p. It does support 1440x900 natively which was the last resolution I played it in.

so no native 1080p ok then but if i play this game on 1080p monitor with 1600x900 will it look good im asking this because i have read that playing below monitors native rez looks bad can you confirm that by playing it.

It didn't look bad upscaled to 1080p because it's a 2D game and relatively primitive-looking to begin with.

can you edit the configs to see if it can make it work in 1080p if so then post the instructions.

I already tried. There is nothing in the config file which mentions the resolution. The game recognized widescreen resolutions natively. But, it only went up to 1600x900 which seemed fair at the time the game was released.

Also, I only have the first Blitzkrieg which is 2D. I used to have Blitzkrieg II which is 3D (and a graphics hog). But, it didn't look better than the first Blitzkrieg. So, I gave it away.
